For almost 5 years our outside sales rep. Steve Conroy, from the NCA Ottawa branch, was part of the Chat Falls Project. The project was awarded the “Award of Excellence” in the Water Structures category. Due to the area of the job, King pallets had to be air lifted in as well as on a barge on the water at times for certain locations. The project for our sales dollars was $327K for a 30 Million dollar project. We sold 13,434 of a variety of King Packaged material products (240 skids) for the duration of the job. Plus we also supplied a NCA shop supply cabinet for their consumables on site. All in all a great job, client and vendor.

Alain Belanger Retirement

After 35years, Alain’s last day with NCA was on Friday, September 29, 2017.

Alain’s memorable career at National Concrete Accessories started in 1982. Alain was the company’s first Product Manager for manufactured items promoting to the Engineering communities throughout Ontario. His transition to Sales and Sales Management has amassed Alain a large following of supporters and friends throughout Toronto and in all parts of Ontario and Quebec. Alain has been a valuable resource for all staff and customers of NCA. His knowledge of forming and concrete construction has been shared throughout the entire NCA network nationwide and to customers throughout North America. Alain has performed many rolls, both officially and otherwise, at NCA always with focus of service for his clients and upholding a standard above expectations.
 
Alain has always been known to have a flair for the “sarcastic” and “quick wit” with impeccable timing. For those of us that have had the pleasure to work with Alain also know that he has skill sets beyond his work life.
 
Alain Belanger is a loyal and dedicated person and worthy of a happy send off into retirement with all our thoughts and best wishes.

National at the Habitat for Humanity Project

Part of our team, including National's CEO Vince Butera, volunteered at the Habitat for Humanity project in Edmonton. National Construction Supplies was one of the several major players in the Construction industry like Dow Chemicals to participate on the event. We were fortunate to be able to do our part for this great cause, that had the important support of Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project.
